Frequently Asked Questions

Who are we? A California Adult School in the Twin Rivers Unified School District and formerly Grant Adult Education, we offer classes at 2 main sites and 13 satellite locations.

When does school start? Throughout the year.  Most begins on Mondays. Classes are offered year-round.

Who attends? Adults (age 18 and up).  We believe that learning is a life-long activity.

How do I enroll? In Person. Registration is Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at our main sites. 

Is there an Academic Counselor? Yes. Call Las Palmas Center at (916) 286-7577 or Winona Center at (916) 286-3836.

Is there an Orientation? Yes. Our twice-a-month orientations help new high school completion students with registration, course requirements, and course selection.

How much does it cost? Most classes have no fee.  Those that must charge fees keep them as low as possible.

Is the school accredited? Yes.  We are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
